Metanoia: My Own Greek Goddess

We are the glue that holds our own personal worlds together. We are managers of emotional discomfort that are often hidden from others keeping our inner heart space sacred always protecting that which is deep within our souls and only letting in very few who may hold the key, but yet still always on guard.

No matter what color our hair, or our skin or the deepness of our wounds and emotional scars there is always an opportunity for change. An opportunity to reach out, to help another peel back the layers for healing and happiness, to be kind, compassionate, to offer a hand of friendship and caring, to just listen and give a hug or a smile freely, and to pray together for hope.

The kind of hope which brings about transformation, like the butterfly who bounces about from flower to flower spreading its glorious beauty unconditionally with each flutter of its wings reminding us all, that once we take the time to close our eyes, to be still in the silence and listen, anything is and can be possible, magical even, and we as women are worthy of such possibilities and validation. Validation we are a sisterhood of unmatched game changers, rule makers, that we are enough, and we matter in the global world of humanity.

It does not matter what color our hair, or our skin or the deepness of our wounds and emotional scars or the way we dress with flowers in our hair or bells on our shoes we are all connected by strength, love, heart and soul. We as women will always, even in our darkest of hours stand tall and proud for what we believe is right, fair and just even if we are the only ones standing! The World needs not underestimate the power we have and carry within us, we are enough and we do make a difference!
