Pizza Box Art

Here is another piece created on pizza box cardboard. Nothing fancy just having a little fun playing around.

I have such a collection of different size cardboard from friends and some I've saved on my own. I use them for backgrounds for other art pieces and some become the art piece itself as in the above work. It's a great way to recycle, create some art and have loads of fun while doing it.

Share this and pin it to your board for inspiration. ~Blessings

Abstract Backgrounds

These are a few of my latest abstract background creations. I created these on mixed media paper and had so much fun.

These are nice enough on there own but I plan to use these in other mixed media projects on canvas and wood. I will post the projects so be sure to subscribe via email in the box to the left to get the latest updates in your inbox.

Pizza Box Abstract Art

One of the things I have learned from my fellow artist is that everything and possibly anything can be a canvas, including pizza boxes. I prefer to use the frozen pizza boxes because they have no food particles left on them since the pizza is wrapped in plastic and they are the perfect square shape.

The above abstract can be used as an art piece on its own or as a background for another work of art. Abstract art is another one of my most favorite pieces of work to create. You can go crazy with paint color or any other mediums of your choice. When I create an abstract piece I have 2 rules, have fun and don't think about it just do it.

2 Abstracts and a Kaleido

One of the things I enjoy most when creating artwork is having fun with it and not worrying about being perfect, especially with abstracts. Here is a couple of my latest abstract pieces.

They can have such character and can be used for a variety of projects. With the advancement in technology, artwork can be printed on a variety of products and surfaces ranging from paper to wood, to metal and fabrics.

Speaking of technology, I feel my art inspires technology with the many options for programs, plugins, attachments and so forth. Technology provides me with a way to enhance my work in a way I would not otherwise be able to do with out it. This kaleidoscope is a perfect example. This was created using a filter in photoshop from one of my original art pieces. With other filters, gradients, hues, and saturation, one can have an endless amount of possibilities.
