Pizza Box Abstract Art

One of the things I have learned from my fellow artist is that everything and possibly anything can be a canvas, including pizza boxes. I prefer to use the frozen pizza boxes because they have no food particles left on them since the pizza is wrapped in plastic and they are the perfect square shape.

The above abstract can be used as an art piece on its own or as a background for another work of art. Abstract art is another one of my most favorite pieces of work to create. You can go crazy with paint color or any other mediums of your choice. When I create an abstract piece I have 2 rules, have fun and don't think about it just do it.

ab·stract art (noun) is defined as:
art that does not attempt to represent external, recognizable reality but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures.

I like to think that imperfection is the perfect companion to my abstract work and if all else fails, paint over it and start over.
